Ahmed Musa reveals why he returned to Kano Pillars

Super Eagles striker and captain, Ahmed Musa has opened up about the reason behind his shock move to his boyhood club Kano Pillars.

He was involved in an interview on d BBC Sport Africa where he made it known that Kano Pillars has been the team that made him the professional footballer he is today and it is only wise that he comes back to serve his club.

He said: “Anything that improves the image of Nigerian football is something that I strive to embark on and Kano Pillars holds a special place in my heart.

“It’s the team that helped me become the professional footballer I am today, so this is more than just football but a very strong bond.”

In other news, Governor Ganduje of Kano state is set to unveil captain of the Super Eagles Ahmed Musa as Kano Pillars’s latest signing to the people of Kano.

In a statement from the office of the chairman of the club, Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu Jambul and signed by the media officer, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa and made available to www.kano-pillars.com, it was revealed that the Sai Masu Gida have agreed to signed Musa until the end of the 2020/21 football season.

The club agreed to the deal after due consultations with the player and the League Management Company of Nigeria (LMC).

It was further revealed that the club has received a letter from the League Management Company of Nigeria (LMC) that was signed by the Chief Operating Officer, Malam Salihu Abubakar and it was revealed in the letter that Kano Pillars will sign Ahmed Musa as an Elite player of the league to the end of the season.
