As the year is rounding lots of parties and celebration will be happening these days, already happening, people thanking God it’s the end of 2017 and soon it will 2018, to God be the Glory they say.
So the Igbo community in Amuwo Odofin area, the Amafor Ugbawka Federated Union Lagos hosted their end of the year party on Sunday, hosting friends and family. The President of the association Mazi Vincent I. Ani in his message wishing his people a prosperous end of the year celebration and also appreciating God for a well spent 2017, encouraging members to do more next year than they have this year.
During the celebration lots of activities took place, the Oghene band entertained the crowd, even the celebration of birthday and the serving of their local dish, Ofeonugbo and Semo and Wheat and the general popular dish Rice and Stew.
The lunch of the annual calendar too was done, with the different member of the association donating to the lunching.
