Chinese Embassy Stops Issuance Of Visas To Nigerians Over Coronavirus Outbreak


China has suspended the issuance of visa to Nigerians pending when the Coronavirus ravaging the united states of america and other countries is contained.

The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nigeria, Zhou Pingjian, said on Monday that the embassy had stopped the issuance of visas to Nigerians. He stated the pass is to defend other nationals journeying China .

He stated:

We will, in a accountable manner, protect the life of each foreign countrywide in China and address their legitimate concerns in a timely manner.

We will preserve to strengthen communication and coordination with the international network and paintings hand in hand for the epidemic prevention and control.

He delivered that a total of 60 Nigerians are residing in Wuhan, in which the virus started. He also said that no Nigerian in China have been infected.
