Police say 49-year-old Muhammadu Igomigoh shot his 44-year-old estranged girlfriend Nnenna Ogbanna before turning the gun on himself after an argument over financial matters.

Baltimore County Police and Fire arrived to Northrop Lane and Lannerton Road just before 12:30 on Tuesday afternoon for reports of a shooting. Once inside the location, officials found Igomigoh and Ogbanna suffering from gunshot wounds. Both people were declared dead at the scene.

The gun used in the shooting was for Igomigoh’s job as a security guard. The gun was legally registered to Igomigoh who also had a “carry” permit.

Igomigoh and Ogbanna have two children together but were no longer living together during the time of the shooting.
