Dr Sid: Iyanya makes us look lazy at mavin

Mavin Records singer, Dr. Sid, has praised the incredible work ethic of his new label mate, Iyanya. According to the ‘Surulere’ crooner, Iyanya’s work rate since he joined the label has left other members of the team looking lazy.

Dr. Sid made the comments on Wednesday at Iyanya’s EP ‘Signature’ unveiling concert which took place at Hard Rock Café, Oniru, Lagos.

He added that Iyanya’s influence is rubbing off positively on other members of the label.

He said, “Iyanya is the best thing to happen to Mavin Records. He has made the rest of us look lazy with his work rate and I am not saying this because he is here. Iyanya has recorded over 50 songs in less than three months.”

The EP, ‘Signature’, is made up of seven songs and a bonus track.

Iyanya joined Mavin Records in October 2016 after ending his partnership with former co-owner of Triple MG, Ubi Franklin.
