Talented Nigerian singer, Ayo Balogun, fondly referred to as Wizkid while at an #ENDSARS protest in London rejoiced over the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad by the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.
The Smile singer stated that the development shows that Nigerian youths have a voice. He said, “As I was coming here to the protest, I learnt that the IGP in Nigeria has disbanded SARS.
“Nigerian youths do not let anyone tell you that we do not have a voice. We all have a voice, we just need to know how to use it. Nigerians we deserve good government. We won.”
Last weekend, the multiple award-winning artiste lent his voice on the #ENDSAR campaign urging the president to do something about the incessant police brutality. On Sunday, the Ojuelegba singer joined other Nigerians in London to call on the president to #ENDSARS.
