The weekly Nigeria Music Industry Nite last night, 3rd-4th, had a considerable turnout of music fans who were agog at the performance of England born, Nigerian-based singer and songwriter Seyi Shay, the headliner for the event.
The event, “MainLand Invasion” edition which was held at Club 38, Bode Thomas Rd, Surulere came with a mind-blowing experience, as Nigeria singer Jaywon and other artists including the up and coming were there to support the “Yolo Yolo” crooner who also announced her new project “The New Wave”.

After dominating the African R&B market, Seyi Shay released her record ‘Yolo Yolo’ which brought with it a fresh and vibrant myriad of flavours and colour.
The last performance at the Industry Nite is second time she headlines the event, she said while in a chat with Odin Aimhie of Shakarasquare.
Talking about the female artists in the Nigeria Music Industry, the singer said that she is happy that the female acts are taking over the industry with the kind of music they do and the energy and passion they put into what they do.
Industry Nite is a weekly music (entertainment) event which headlines superstars and made artists in the music industry and also give up and coming acts opportunities to showcase what they have.
