A bomb blast occurred today in the Jimeta Division of the Nigerian Police in Yola, Adamawa state, around 10:15 am.
Our correspondent who was at the scene of the incident reports that some police men on guard were affected with various degree of injuries.
The bomb which was believe to be one of IED’s recovered from the hands of Boko Haram and kept under the custody of the police armory division of the station.
The station which is strategically located within main heart of Jimeta the Administrative headquarters of Adamawa state that is close to a central primary school, Nigerian prisons, NITEL and Jimeta old Market.
Details will be given later as the official declined giving any comments as what led to the explosion of the IED.
