Having a child is not an achievement – Tee-Y Mix’s wife says

Ivie Ibitoye, the wife of music producer, Tee-Y Mix, has slammed family and friends who love to put pressure on women who are still expecting to have a child of their own.

In a social media post, Ibitoye said that the messages and other forms of encouragement given to such women are “silent pressure.”

She also said that having a child is not an achievement just the same way marriage is not an achievement

She shared: “Dear Family and Friends,

It is not in your place to calculate how long someone has been married and why they do not have kids.

It is NOT your business.

Sending “fruitfulness” scriptures is RUDE AND SILENT PRESSURE.

Sending “NSPPD” links for “fruitfulness” and “Monday of congratulations” is RUDE AND SILENT PRESSURE especially to someone you have not said a word to in years.

Sending youtube links of people’s testimony after being childless is RUDE AND SILENT PRESSURE.

She added: “Same way marriage is not an achievement. Having a child is not an achievement.
