Nigeria’s Super Eagles have moved from 60th to the 50th position in the latest ranking by world football governing body, FIFA.
The latest ranking means Nigeria moved 10 places to 50th position with Burkina Faso who moved 17 places up.
The National team had defeated Algeria 3-1 and 2-1 victory over Zambia in the World Cup qualifiers.
Nigeria is currently 6th in Africa with Burkina Faso while Senegal are Africa’s number one team and 33rd in the world.
Argentina retains the number one spot with Brazil coming second after moving a place up.
Champions Germany are third, Chile are fourth and Belgium are in fifth position.
