Obafemi Martins paid a visit to his teammate Demba Ba in hospital following his ghastly leg break at the weekend, Mirror writes.
Senegal international Ba snapped his left leg during a Chinese Super League derby match for his club Shanghai Shenua on Sunday.
He seemed to be in good spirits folowing the visit of Martins, with the Nigerian international posting a picture of both of them on Instagram with the message: “@Dembafoot… get well soon my brother.”
Former inter Milan and Newcastle striker Martins joined Demba Ba in the Chinese Super League earlier this year after a productive spell in the MLS with Seattle Sounders.
Ba had tangled with an opposing player in the 72nd minute of the tie in what looked to be a harmless challenge, but his left leg took a gut-wrenching blow that left him in excruciating pain before being substituted for Martins.

The former Chelsea and West ham striker was then rushed to hospital after being given general anaesthesia, but on waking up, his first question to the doctors was: “Did we win the game?”
Shenhua were trailing 1-0 at the time of the injury, but they managed to overturn the deficit and win the local derby clash 2-1.
Meanwhile, Shenhua boss Gregorio Manzano has promised that Ba would receive ‘the best medical treatment’ available to aid his recovery.
“It could end Ba’s professional career. I would rather lose the game than lose Ba. God is unfair. Ba is too good to have this happened to him,” he said after the game.
The player who tackled Ba, Sun Xiang, has visited the forward in hospital, as has Shanghai vice-mayor Zhao Wen.
