Nigeria is a great country they’ll tell you and it’s true, though we’ve got lots of issues to deal with but our fashion, you’ll love because it’s on the map and it’s taking over timelines and people’s wardrobe and you don’t have to spend your hard earn money buying just one piece like that of the big brands and that’s what #BuyNigerianBrands is about.

Aside from maybe the pride in those big brands, the growing smaller brands will give you almost the same kind of design. We need to support our own too, to get there and that’s why we’ll always appreciate the Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s and the Ono Bello’s for making us fall in love extra with these brands.

Today in my #BuyNigerianBrands campaign, I am wearing pieces from two talented upcoming brands; the intricate sheer top is by Nigerian-UK based brand Semande (Instagram: @yemisiolaiya) which I have paired with the “Uwa” skirt from 7thAvenue by Cateline Esther (Instagram: @seventhavenue_). – Ono Bello

Look which was pair with a metallic nude heels and the Uwa skirt of 7th Avenue by Cateline Esther and the Semande sheer top will make you want to change your wardrobe to everything Nigerian made, not too late though, you still can, and your wardrobe and bank account will thank you.

Stay Nigerian and be stylish.
