Political campaigns will now be more of achievement records not crowd mobilization – Prince Obina Ude

Tech entrepreneur and politician,Prince Obinna Ude have expressed concern about the increase in youth unemployment  in Nigeria.

According to the Abia PDP youth leader,”Politicians will have to show their achievements records in previous elections rather than mobilizing large crowds,especially young people”.He pointed out that post COVID-19 will change the way political campaigns are held.

Politician will have to use social media platforms to show their constituents or electorates what they have done or what they will do if elected. The time of mobilizing large crowds and share all souvenirs may never happen again.

Speaking in a webinar organised by a group of young professionals,Prince Ude task the young professionals to seek political positions to be able to contribute their quotas to the development of the country.He also asked the young people to shun violence,cultism and internet fraud as this vices are part of the reasons the older politicians think that the younger generations are not ready for leadership.

Prince Ude who was a Special Adviser to the Governor of Abia state tasks Politicians to render dividends of democracy to their constituents who elected them and warned them that it will not be business as usual .”Do the work in which you are elected,create employment for the youths,develop the health sector and try as much as you can to impact the masses positively”,he said.

Adding his voice on the current rape issues in Nigeria,the tech enthusiast warn rapists to desist from the evil act and charge the ladies to always watch who they follow as many men are not what they seem.He warn ladies not to be carried away by what they see on the social media as most of the wealth showcased therein are audio.
