Marvin Boss Don Jazzy has seemingly reacted to the rape allegations against his long time friend, Dbanj and he says it saddens his soul.

DBanj Slaps Lady Who Accused Him Of Rape With Lawsuit; Demands ...

About a week ago, a lady identified as Seyitan took to her social media page to accuse award-winning singer, Dbanj of raping her in 2018.

Fast forward to 17th, June 2020, Dbanj responded to those allegations with a law suit and according to reports making the rounds, got the lady arrested and made her retract her statement.

Dbanj’s action elicited a wide range of criticism on social media as most users accused him of abusing the power and trying to silence his accuser.

So apparently Seyitan is being held by Dbanj’s manager somewhere on the island and she apparently did not go home from the police station. She is being coerced into recanting her statement. They’ve tried money, now it’s coercion. Is this your fave?! https://twitter.com/ChiomaChuka/status/1273551627493036032

So Miss Seyitan Eunice Babatayo who was supposed to meet with @PoliceNG PPRO this morning is nowhere to be found. She’s not answering calls or in contact with her lawyer or family. There is strong reason to believe she didn’t get home last night.#StateOfEmergencyGBV

Fans beckoned on Don Jazzy to lend his voice since he is close friends with Dbanj and he took to twitter to do just that.

His tweet reads;

No matter how long a lie lasts, the truth will always prevail. The fact is that one of them is a victim and the law will protect that person. I stand firmly against rape and all injustices against women, children and everyone including oppression. I urge all victims to speak out and report to the appropriate quarters.

It is also important that every accused person is given an opportunity to set the facts straight. For most of us, all we have is the good name our parents have given us and we must protect and bequeath to our own successors.

This particular case saddens my soul but I am not competent to investigate or judge this matter. I implore the police to thoroughly investigate and courts to do justice.
