Kim Kardashian ‘s diamond cross has been found following her horrific armed robbery, according to reports.
It was previously claimed a piece of the stolen jewellery was found close to the block where the reality star was targeted, and it’s now claimed it is her black cross.
According to TMZ , the stunning piece is from famed jeweller Jacob and Co and is thought to be valued at around $33,180 (£26,758).
A passerby is said to have found it on the pavement just a day after robbers fled the scene.
The tiny gemstone could provide vital DNA evidence which may lead cops to the attackers.
“A piece of stolen jewellery was found close to the block, and was presumably dropped by the gang. It suggests that the criminals may have made mistakes because they were in such a hurry,” a source close to the investigation previously told Mail Online.
We have contacted the star’s reps for comment.
The new information comes as it was revealed Kim has called in former special forces troops to spearhead her own probe into her Paris raid ordeal, The Sunday People can exclusively reveal.
The reality TV star was tied up at gunpoint in her apartment this week as thieves made off with booty including a £3.2million engagement ring and mobile phones.
French police are probing and suspect there was an inside man.
But sources close to Kim, 35, and rapper hubby Kanye West say they are taking no chances and bringing the matter in-house.
One source said: “They’ve decided to use their own experts as part of their security overhaul. Some of them have worked for the world’s top intelligence agencies. If anyone can get to the bottom of what went on, these guys will.
“For Kim, it’s about feeling safe. She needs to know that a security breach like this will never happen again.
“For Kanye, it’s about knowing exactly who is responsible.”
The focus earlier in the week appeared to be on staff at the five-star complex.
A night concierge was understood to have let the gang in after they arrived dressed as policemen.
Questions have also been asked about the actions of Kim’s private security guard Pascal Duvier , who had left her at home with her stylist friend while he accompanied her sisters to a Paris Fashion Week party.
Afterwards, it emerged he filed for company bankruptcy a short time earlier with almost £1million in debts. But it is not thought he has been considered as a suspect.
US reports said the family filed insurance claims for 13 things five days after the incident – with Kim’s 20-carat diamond ring the most expensive stolen item.
It was also reported that Kim and Kanye will be beefing up their team of minders.
The couple have kept a low profile since the raid.
Kanye, 39, cancelled several gigs before returning to the stage this weekend.
Kim’s break from the limelight is expected to cost millions . She has huge deals to promote products via social media.
