Mompha, popular for his flashy lifestyle and display of wealth on Instagram before his arrest, deleted all his IG posts shortly after he was arrested.
Following his arrest, he was arraigned by the EFCC for alleged N33 billion fraud.
He had pleaded not guilty to the 14 counts bordering on fraud, money laundering and running a foreign exchange business without the authorization of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
After meeting his bail conditions, Mompha was released on Monday.
On his exit from the EFCC custody, he took to his verified IG page to celebrate his release.
Wearing a vest with the inscription #Freedom, Mompha went live on IG while in the car with four other men believed to be his associates.
“Am I a Yahoo Boy?”
“Noo,” he responded.
